David Bowie and Bing Crosby 1976 Christmas



There are no "classics for Christmas" in my life without including "Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy" as one of them.

Not least, because it was recorded just a month before his passing - and aired posthumously.

You can see it in his eye: he knew his time was almost upon him - and he no doubt said to himself "let's make this one, one for the ages."

And they did.
