Atlanta airport in mid 90's. At snack bar, and in gift shop ran into Harry and his 2 women back up singers
He was a coked up too who insisted he was going to be on AM Chicago the next morning. There was no such show.
He was on TV, but on Oprah!
The two ladies were terrific folks, though.
Because I flew a lot, I had a 1st class upgrade and sat next to one of them. She was a sweetie.
He was out of his gourd.

You sound like you got a very fortunate break. Just as an aside...to me, its a good indicator of a bounty of Kharma. Fortunate good Kharma stemming from leading a good and honest life before the kharma comes into play. Rock on!
