Coffee and Hendrix from the family room

My son is jamming along with Hear my train a coming. I’ve been teaching him this song but am discovering at thirteen he is capable of finding his own way on fretboard. I am amazed in four years how our guy has progressed. Structured lessons the internet and jamming with dad and our friends. He is much further along than I was at his age and he makes me smile. As I stand in the kitchen at the keurig deciding on green Mt breakfast blend or donut shop. i said I have a request Villanova junction and now listening to this awesome piece of guitar work. In my mind when I hear or play Villanova junction I think velvet cloth so smooth to the touch.

Isn't it so encouraging when our younger generation appreciates the older classic rock from our generation? My 27 year old son loves Hendrix, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Yes .......... hats off to your son and good job Dad. Wish I was listening to him jam right now.

I'm listening to some Joe Bonamassa right now as I type.
