Jennifer Batten shreds the Grandmama of all guitar solos

For those who are unaware of Jennifer, she was guitar player with Alice Cooper and Michael Jackson. On the latter, I read a Rolling Stone interview where she said she was puzzled by the invite. She said he just wanted her to play some simple funky licks and stay in the background and idle musically. She thought he could have hired anyone.

I saw her once when she and Jeff Beck shared a tour. She didn't open for him, it was a battle of the sexes for the entire string bending show. At one point she shook her head and threw her arms in the air to admit she couldn't keep up. Jennifer picked it right up again.
