...the organ that was used on this song are available today for as low as $600!
The Hammond M-100 wizard spinet & nobody wants those. If it's not a B3 or C3 the demand is near zero.
I saw one on Reverb that was asking $900. It's been listed for nearly 3 years. The one that listed for $700 sold only after the seller dropped the price $100.
It's an iconic organ sound used on several famous rock songs (including some Beatles tunes) and nobody cares!
As a kid growing up playing my dad's Hammond, this makes me a bit sad.
I get it, though. I can get an absolutely killer Hammond tone out of 4 of the 6 instruments I used when I quit playing. And, I can do somewhere between a hundred & a thousand other things. Plus, they don't weigh 200#!

I'm guessing the 200 lbs is a put off. And what a versatile symbol # has become all from the lowly tic-tac-toe. Last Stephen Colbert late night show tonight. Sorry my cat woke me up early
