I adore Mark Knopfler !!!

A true musical genius:

He writes the lyrics.
He writes the music.
He composes the music.
He sings and tells the stories he has written.
He plays lead guitars and coaxes sounds out of them like no other !!!

Musical scores for 9 movies.

Has played and sang with too many people to mention.

I have heard several songs with him and Philip Lynott.

I guess this really high lights that Mark was Dire Straits since he guests with Phillip and it's his guitar I hesr
