Very happy with how this turned out - my first attempt at a deeper slump.

(1,732 posts)A friend of mine was into fused glass and made many nice pieces. I never understood the details of the process, so I'll see what YouTube has.

(7,080 posts)I do regular stained glass with foil/solder. Never got around to fused and now I have no access to the teacher. Beautiful piece.

(5,371 posts)as I haven't had access to a teacher since my first class. I've never done stained glass - the foiling seems challenging to get right!

(5,371 posts)Totally agree. I was heartbroken when I tried to take a hot glass class and realized that I epically sucked at it!
The glass in this piece actually is iridescent rather than dichroic - but I'm with you in loving dichroic. It is just SO expensive!

(19,108 posts)Love dicrohric glass.
Bought 2 finished small pieces I wrapped lightly to make pendents.
Then a few small beads added to my own unique wire jewelry.

I tried blown glass and, much to my disappointment, I truly and epically suck at it 😁
