"Jaws" turns 50 this summer.

I can hardly believe it. Maybe the (mediocre at best) novel, the making-of books, soundtrack etc. will be reissued.

Want a gigantic $75 coffee table book filled with the reminiscences of people who just happened to be living on Martha's Vineyard the year Jaws was filmed? With their faded Polaroid pictures from that glorious summer?

It will be fun, but we'll be inundated...

It seemed to me then, a good reaction.

wouldn't all the chum in the water, Quint's blood, plus 25 feet of shark guts attract other sharks?

Last lines, Brody: "I used to hate the water / Hooper: I can't imagine why" should have been "Let's get the hell out of here."
