Will Justin Bieber play role of Robin in 'Batman vs. Superman'?

Oh God no.

Justin Bieber has used his Instagram account to fuel speculation about his acting career. He posted a selfie showing him behind what appears to be a movie script. The script has his name watermarked on it and reads 'Batman vs. Superman.'

The Biebs has acted in two episodes of 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,' on a show called 'Cubed' and in skits on 'Saturday Night Live' so it would not be a surprise if did take on a role in the film. The obvious character for him would be Robin, Batman's sidekick.

Ben Affleck will be playing Batman, while Brit actor Henry Cavill is reportedly signed to play Superman. The fact that Robin is a smallish guy makes it more credible as the Canadian pop star is only 5 ft 7 in (170 cm) and hasn't hit 150 pounds.

There are other explanations besides Bieber having the part. He could be auditioning for the role and so had the script to prepare. Or it could all be a joke. That latter possibility becomes more likely when you consider that not long after posting the photo Bieber tweeted that he was "off to do something funny or...die "

He may have his teen groupies that adore him, but those I know who might ordinarily pay $10 plus to go see the film, wouldn't do so in one that featured him. 'Thems just the facts, bub, even if I sound like a grouchy "old" person.
