The colors and light are really well done. I'm going to try pastels, just bought a box and some paper the other day. I'm used to oils, so who knows what kind of mess I'll make, but your painting has got me inspired. Nice job!

Would you say soft pastels are like “drawing with paint”? Reason I ask is because I’ve always felt like a better drawer than a painter, if that makes any sense, yet I’d love to attempt some more artwork.
