I have trouble painting skies, faces, figures, and fabric, so of course I decided to make an angel

for a dear friend. First one looks like the Grim Reaper and would have scared her to death. Hoping the second one will feel more like a guardian angel!

I actually really like the “Grim Reaper” one... seems more in line with my vague spirituality. 😊

my friend definitely would have found it unsettling. The doll face was definitely the way to go for her.
