Where have all the NFT offers gone?

I remember when I opened an IG account, I'd get offers daily for NFTs for my paintings. Now I don't think I've had one in at least a year. Did the scammers finally wise up? Anyone else notice this?

magic beans don't have a great shelf life.

I have also noticed the NFT desert, but I put a NO NFT announcement in my Insta Bio... so there's that, I guess.

But it never seemed to deter the idiots. Now i'm inclined to remove it.

the NFTs) attempted to gain value (the items in question purchased by the NFTs) w/o really paying anything.

In effect, it's like me saying a Kleenex I grabbed out of the tissue box is worth something simply because I declared it to be worth something.

It's like picking up a scrap piece of paper off the floor and stating that it's worth ten bucks $10.

Try to buy something w/ that scrap piece of paper later, you'll find that most people won't see it valued at $10.

They're trying to create their own money w/o creating value or something like the US Dollar is.

Or aren't, actually. I'm just surprised the scammers offering them to folks like me have disappeared. Not that I'm disappointed or anything.
