Anyone making any artistic New Year's resolutions?

Some of mine:
Try to do a sketch or drawing every day
Learn how to draw faces
Learn how to draw human figures
Have more patience when painting
Maybe try pastels?

Shot some pretty good stuff 30+ years ago. Still have the urge but I don’t know where my patience went. And I got all the time in the world now. And I much prefer shooting film kinda like I much prefer driving my old 51 Chevy Truck. I’ll try the patience stuff this coming year.

Big landscape, scares me.

Maybe do more sketching, do some live stuff outside when spring comes.

I have a project in mind but it’s bigger than my usual efforts and I just have been procrastinating way too much.

I can’t paint people but I can draw people. I can’t draw landscapes but I can paint landscapes. When I draw landscapes they look like a 5 year old did it.

Make a Nike Commercial. JUST DO IT!

Just for a moment I was back in the Navy, utilizing one way communications. Thanks for the memory.

And many five year olds are very artistic.

"365 Days of Art" with simple creative exercises you can do in a short time. I highly recommend it!
