Do you paint while looking at your subject matter, or from your imagination/mind's eye? And how long does a painting usually take?

It is beautiful, with a sweet, peaceful theme for summer. The garden bath is filled with fresh water for a welcome place to cool off in these hot summer months.

Like much of your work, I think prints of this would make lovely cards.
