I love doodling, fiddling with things, making things out of different things. I love making stylized drawings of fantastical things. As I would tell my students, 'Your only limitation is your imagination'.
Here's Flute Fae, drawn in 2003, a pencil doodle. She's bringing in the Spring!

(838 posts)It snowed about 4 inches last night and today the wind chill makes it feel like 7 degrees. Your artwork is really beautiful and I hope the fae's flute brings spring. I hope you are still drawing because you have a real gift.

(2,067 posts)It's around 40 degrees or so here - unusually warm for this time of year. I'm so glad it's not freezing as my body gets into some real pain.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. I am still drawing at times, teaching both of my grandsons, and my son in law wants me to teach him as well. He's amazingly gifted! My hands are giving me some trouble so it's much slower going than it used to be. I have EDS, a progressive syndrome, and my wrists and knuckles easily pop out, along with all of my other joints. Frustrating as all get out, but compression gloves and braces help and Fairwinds cbd balm, for when my knuckles get really swollen and painful.
I will stop creating only when I pass over.

(2,067 posts)I doodled on my assignments throughout school, making little portraits of the teachers on the papers. They all loved it.

(2,067 posts)Doodles turn into drawings, then paintings, and sometimes, preludes to sculptures.
You doodle just fine!
