Someone else complimented you on the amount of detail, but what I find even more impressive is that you never lost the big simpler shapes that make up the composition as you added that detail.

I did this per request of a friend, from a photograph, so the composition was pretty much already set. Sometimes I wish I didn’t focus on detail so much! I tend to get bogged down with it, or so I feel, maybe it’s just me. But I do appreciate your comments! Thanks for being so encouraging!

I wonder if I should have put some people standing on the overlook platform on the far right. There were none in the photo so I felt that I should just stick to that. But maybe it would have been nice to see people there? Give it a perspective?
