Any stamp collectors care to share how best to convert an inherited collection into tuition $?

Aloha,

A lifelong friend of my grandparents gave my son his stamp collection. I'm stumped as to what to do with it. We don't have a lot of space, and I'm sure our un-airconditioned home is less conducive to good conservation than the air conditioned apartment they came from.

I have no knowledge about stamps, and no way to value them without making it my new hobby.

Does anyone have any dealers that you know to be fair and trustworthy, as much as anyone is?

Many thanks.

Big show in major city would be best bet for best prices. Dealers at shows are always buying and there would be a lot of dealers to try for best prices.
