So I buy an item on eBay, located in FL, and the seller doesn't ship it
I ask for a refund, he says he will process it, and blames it on one of his employees, and the product is now listed in Brazil! So this is some 3rd rate stooge with a home gig worker here in the US. No wonder Amazon is winning this game.

(23,607 posts)You do realize not everyone in Red states are Republican right? Personally, I need to see 99.5% positive or better with at least a few hundred reviews. Don't much care where it's located as long as it's the U.S.

(17,044 posts)I've never been stuck with anything I didn't want from Amazon. If I return something, I take it down to the UPS store. Within about a half hour I get the refund added to my account. They give me things sometimes, rather than having to return the items. Ebay is all right, and I still buy things from them occasionally, but I much prefer Amazon.

(51,235 posts)said the seller was in the US, but after it didn't arrive and didn't arrive, I checked his profile and he was in some foreign country. The DVD finally arrived but didn't act quite right and I had a strong suspicion it was a pirated video. No way to prove it and it wasn't that much money so I let it go. It's a real shame you can't buy anything in a brick and mortar store anymore.
