What is it worth?

I look on Ebay to see what the current market is. Of course you can put anything you want for a price and that doesn't make it worth that. So, I like to go to "sold' items.

Well I found this clock at a yard sale Friday for one dollar. I know it's worth more than a dollar and I'm pretty sure the asking price is a bit high on this listing.

no fading on the tapestry ribbon of the one I found.

Great find. Even if it's worth half that it's a great find. LakeArenal Apr 2021 #1

I love old clocks. I would have nabbed it, too! Are you going to resell it or keep it? Can you post a pic?

$65 on it. When I picked it up and felt how heavy it was, I was impressed. I wound it up yesterday and it has keep time for 24 hours.

Last year I bought a wrist watch for a buck and sold it on EBay for $375. I did have it cleaned and put a new band on it for another $50. I had seen it listed on Etsey for $1,200 and listed on EBay in ruff condition for $250, the scrape value for the 14k gold in it. It only lasted for 2 or 3 days before it sold. It was a 1958 Swiss mans' watch the just looked like any other 1958 watch, until I saw the made in switzerland.

Looks exactly like the one pictured on Ebay.

My daughter is an antique dealer and I collect Majolica and art pottery. The clock is lovely! I’m looking forward to visiting sales safely now that I’m vaccinated.
I really missed that last summer.

My answer is, did you check to see what it sold for on EBay? Another great answer is, then you should sell it on EBay.

I think the last posting I found on Ebay was from 2003 and sold for around $50. That's what I put on it.
As I recall it had a diameter of about 5 inches. The most notable think was how heavy it was.
