Got a really good deal on a misc lot of stuff at an estate sale last weekend
a humidor with a dozen cigars
a leather 3 cigar case, never used still has the cardboard shape holders in it
a nice metal Cohiba cigar cutter
a weaved basket that now sits near my front door and holds face masks
3 small nice wood boxes, nice inlaid patterns
a sterling silver Reed & Barton bookmark
a dozen buttons promoting books published in the 80s and 90s
$28 for everything.
by Tuesday I had sold 3 buttons and the cigar cutter on eBay for $60 total.
eventually everything else will sell too, on eBay or in my booth at the antique mall.
The basket now sits near my front door and holds face masks
I'll be smoking the cigars and the 3 wood boxes go into my collection
Sometimes the little scores are the most fun.

(1,400 posts)i went today to look at some furniture. planning to open a b&b soon.
interested in everything i saw. waiting for a price list from the guy. but all great stuff. solid cherry dining room set, a couple of cherry beds.
but the cutie was a wall mounted coffee grinder. crystal was the brand. wrought iron, hand crank. had the glass reservoir and everything.
he is throwing in a bunch of little ppl toys, which i have a ton of. these are the modern ones. but i will donate them to the family room at the hospice unit where i used to volunteer. locked out now.
collecting is fun. lucky you that it is a paying hobby.

(26,842 posts)of cigars, I am genuinely glad that they wound up with someone who can truly appreciate them.
It looks as if you got an excellent buy all around.
