I recently drew blueberry pancakes for an art project! 😄 And a pat of butter on top.
We had to draw something our family made. My mom would make plain pancakes for me, and blueberry ones for my dad.

I didn't have maple syrup till later. And as and adult I made my own pancakes from scratch.

BTW, speaking of maple. Have you ever had maple candy? Yum!

I'd never heard of maple candy until I was at a festival here in NYC celebrating Vermont about 35 years ago. A vendor had them.

After that I'd occasionally found them at our Geen Market.
