Mesa is the original basis for tortillas and are much healthier than flour.

(53,842 posts)4. It fully explains it in the video. These burritos come from the northern part of Mexico, where wheat is grown a lot.
Northern Mexico, especially Sonora, grows a lot of wheat. Corn tortillas are indeed healthier (unless you fry them) but they don't hold up to the amount of material that goes in to burros/burritos. I love them both.

I've been to Mexico, but I've never seen burros made.
