and as the expiration date of my old one was getting closer, I called up the company to tell them I hadn't gotten my new card yet. It turns out they never sent it!

The funny thing was, I had gotten a number of e-mails from them reminding me to activate the new card that they never sent me!

It should have arrived on December 13th way before Christmas. It's been in transit at the Indianapolis USPS processing plant since December 15th.

Years ago, my ex mailed a Christmas card to one of our children that contained a gift card and it never arrived. He submitted a missing mail search and it finally arrived at my house opened but with the Christmas card and gift card still inside. He just mailed it and only placed one stamp on the envelope. He actually needed two stamps with the weight of the gift card.
