with an Arby's gift card inside around the 18th of December. I just got it today! The envelope was ripped open but the gift card was still inside. I guess whoever opened the envelope decided an Arby's gift card wasn't worth stealing. Luckily for me !

(52,617 posts)It was shipped from just 75 miles away. Every time I called the bank they said, "it should be there in two days."
DeJoy, Trump and Steiner are killing the Post Office.

(2,147 posts)and as the expiration date of my old one was getting closer, I called up the company to tell them I hadn't gotten my new card yet. It turns out they never sent it!
The funny thing was, I had gotten a number of e-mails from them reminding me to activate the new card that they never sent me!

(27,595 posts)In July 2022, (Three+ YEARS ago) I mailed an invitation to a Scout reunion to one of my former Scouts. In June of 2025--almost three years after I mailed it, it came back to me as "Undeliverable." The Louis DeJoy postal service at work........

(2,147 posts)I had two payments I sent at least five years ago to two different companies that haven't reached their recipients yet. Who knows where they are?
Yes, DeJoy and the Repubicans are doing their level best to destroy the postal service so it can be privatized and for profit only.

(11,567 posts)It should have arrived on December 13th way before Christmas. It's been in transit at the Indianapolis USPS processing plant since December 15th.
I found a sub reddit complaining about the Indianapolis USPS processing plant.
I'd been struggling online to submit a missing mail search but for whatever reason it kept failing.
Finally yesterday I was successful in submitting search. Here's hoping this helps the package arrive to it's destination.
Did your friend submit a missing mail search by any chance? The USPS has to open the packages for a missing mail search.
Years ago, my ex mailed a Christmas card to one of our children that contained a gift card and it never arrived. He submitted a missing mail search and it finally arrived at my house opened but with the Christmas card and gift card still inside. He just mailed it and only placed one stamp on the envelope. He actually needed two stamps with the weight of the gift card.
