Back to home delivery for now

I am resting up after illness. After I'm better and maybe some of the crud has passed us by, I'll go back out, with a mask. I hadn't used home delivery for over 2 years. Some of my old accounts still work, but had to start fresh with Aldi.

I made an order, which came about 5:30 last night. The driver left it at the door and texted that it was delivered. I texted back, said I was sorry I missed her, I had a tip. I was glad she came back. I got in the habit of tipping in cash back when I used delivery a lot. I realized last night if I tip in cash, it keeps that part of the cost off my card.

She told me I was her first delivery and asked if it looked ok. I was pleased with her choices, especially the avocados. In spite of their popularity, in this part of Ohio, it's a toss up if people know how to select ones that will be usable. She picked exactly what I hoped for. As she was going back to her car, she said she'd have to figure out the bag charges, so she'd used a box for my order. I said a lot of us old savers prefer the boxes, to save a little money She appreciated both tips.

I'm glad home delivery has become part of our lifestyle. If I don't have to go out, it's helpful on many levels
