Kitties do that. Hoomans might not appreciate the prezzies, but kitties often will bring them.

He's showing love!

We've never had a cat—just dogs, but we've had a lot of funny experiences with orange cats in our neighborhood. One used to come to our house and steal camellia flowers & take them back to his owner (she once texted us a picture of the very large pile on her back porch). He would also steal things from neighbor's yards and bring them back to her house & she'd have to regularly put the items in a box and check with neighbors to see if the items were theirs. Another would follow us on our walks to the point where we thought he would get lost, and yet another one would see us on our walks and greet us like long lost friends. They really are unique characters!
