Actually saw a really bright one yesterday before dawn. It was coming in at a low angle, southwest to north northeast.

Clear skies, low only in the mid thirties. Perfect!!!!
But tomorrow night…..12 degree low.
Hope to get a show tonight.

But tonight, I'm in the chaise beach chair in the middle of my freshly harvested soybean field with my heated blanket hooked up to the car.. which is in the field with me.

The last time I watched the Geminids they came in so fast and abundant it was spectacular! Plus out here, you can actually hear them. I'm a serious star gazer.

Flock of geese, multiple layers, useless foot after Achilles surgery, but gonna goose up and hobble out to watch. Been a long time but I will keep trying after seeing amazing shows years ago. A never ending chase for those again.
