is the debate got started as other manufacturers stated making their own versions, and depending on which one you were using determined which the tp roll went. They wouldn't work if the tp roll was the other way.

They would unroll that in a heartbeat.

And my cat loves to accompany anyone into the bathroom. When my uncle, who owned a building supply company, built his own house he had chrome covers that flipped down over the toilet paper rolls in his bathrooms. My aunt always had cats. And for my whole life, the toilet paper rolls were placed "under" anywhere my family lived.

Most of us may agree that the wall appears to be to the right of the roll. The confusion begins with whether the roll is being pictured from the toilet or toward the toilet? I just don't know where to go....

said but others are either wound backwards or are designed for holders on the opposite wall. So I put a holder on each wall. When I pull out a roll and it's backwards, I simply put it on the opposite side. If that side already has a roll, I go outside to the nearest hill, unroll the roll then re-roll it the correct way. Has made my life so much easier.

I don't know why the rest of you are making such a big deal about it.
