A major 🖕🏻to UPS, with a minor 🖕🏻to Costco. On Sunday we ordered for next day delivery some housewares from Costco

for my daughter’s new place in SoCal. They lost everything in the Eaton fire. My wife and I were going to take the stuff to the mobile home they are living in until the insurance issues are resolved. We planned on making the drive on Thursday (today).

On Monday we received a notice that the items would be delivered on Tuesday. On Tuesday we were notified that the shipment would be delivered on Wednesday. It was not. Today I spoke with the manager at our local Costco who told me that they have no control over UPS, and they (UPS) sometimes wait until they have a full load until they leave their local hub to make deliveries.

While on the phone with the Costco manager an update was sent to us saying that the estimated delivery date is now next Wednesday.

So, fuck you UPS and fuck you Costco!
