Hey Grandpa. What's for supper?

Smoked baby back beef ribs, baked potatoes, and brussels sprouts.

I smoked the ribs. Herself did the veggies. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Reminds me of my days as a Navy cook on the destroyer USS Sampson.

I fed about 400 guys every day, but I gotta say we never had pulled pork.

recently got my first barrel cooker and that thing is a rib cooking machine. even the two sauce mongers in the house say the ribs don't need anything but salt and pepper!

I'm fond of Meat Church rubs, especially The Gospel.

After the final cook wrapped in foil, I cook another 15 minutes with BBQ sauce cut with apple cider vinegar.
