In honor of the cartoon villain administration upcoming, let's do a Cartoon Villain quiz

You can ask a question about either a cartoon villain or one in a live action movie.

To get started...

1. Boris Badenov had a book of "fiendish plans." How many fiendish plans were in it?

2. Snidely Whiplash became a movie star, and for a brief period he was successful at it. Why was he fired?

3. What was the inspiration for Judge Doom's Dip in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"?

4. What was Gaston in "Beauty and the Beast"'s favorite room decoration?

5. Would Anton Chigurh's air-powered lock-breaking tool in "No Country for Old Men" have opened doors in real life?

6. What was Hannibal Lecter really telling Clarice when he described the meal he made from one of his victims' livers?

7. Why, besides being hungry, does Wile E. Coyote want to eat road runners?

8. In "The Boxtrolls," why was Archibald Snatcher's plan to force himself onto the City Council a really bad idea?

9. What infamous real-world financial firm became "Despicable Me"'s Bank of Evil?

10. According to Harry, one of Sergeant Stedenko's underlings in "Up in Smoke," how much marijuana was in the dope factory that made the fiberweed van?

The real answer: in the old days of hand-drawn animation, the Ink and Paint department used a mixture of those three chemicals to recycle animation cel stock - they would wash the cels in this brew to clean them off then use them to make another movie.

1. 1001 fiendish plans.
2. Snidely's contract had a clause allowing the studio to terminate his employment if, in the event of talkies, Snidely spoke like Dudley Do-Right.
3. Those three chemicals form a solvent that removes ink and paint - what Toons are actually made of - from animation cels. It was the standard cel cleaner in the early days of animation. I suspect the people in the Ink and Paint Department didn't live all that long if they had to work with this.
4. "I use antlers in all of my decorating...my, what a guy, Gaston!"
5. No; rather, it would have bent up the latch so badly the door would have never opened.
6. That he was off his meds. The MAO inhibitors they would have had him on have adverse reactions with liver, fava beans and Chianti wine.
7. Every cut and every feather is a different and delicious flavor.
8. The only thing the Cheesebridge City Council does in chambers is eat cheese, and Snatcher is severely allergic to cheeses.
9. The Bank of Evil was formerly Lehman Brothers.
10. "A shitload!"
