Another poem of my mothers

A GLORIOUS MOTHER'S DAY
The sun rose early that morning in the East
And as it began to climb slowly into the sky, she slowly died.
As the sun rose that morning it became a beautiful, golden day.
The leaves of the trees were out and the flowers were full of blossoms.
But the breath had gone ut of one.
One that was loved, one that was cherished.
She was a Mother, She was a friend.
She was a peacemaker until the end.
Her body was tired and wornwith wear and tear.
She had worked so hardit could not last.
Her body died but her memory remained.
She went to heaven that morning to be with Jesus.
She left her mother, her father.
She left her husband and their children.
But,
She gained heaven, She gained a new body.
She gained a new home that was in glory.
She left us that morning, she left us that day.
She left us on a beautiful morning, a glorious Mothe's Day.

I visited with my mom just before she died.
