I said to my wife on Friday that it seemed like Christmas Eve and Christmas was still 5 days away. Its seemed like that each day since. Not that Im in a hurry, Im loving it. Our daughter is home. They have made cookies. Presents are all wrapped. Were really having a blast.
Weve been watching quite a few sappy formula* Christmas movies (the Hallmark ones are way better) as well as claymation and live action stuff - Family vacation, Elf, etc.
* Formula = THE KISS, rip through the credits, next movie starts all within 30 seconds.
My wife made up some Bingo cards. Those are cut up Post-It notes we used to mark the squares.

(187,333 posts)We watched one last night set in a mythical European country called Ancadia. A Prince was involved- you know the rest. The pickup truck was just going to happen ☹️

Dog can be a tough one. They shoot these in 2-3 weeks from what Ive been able to find so using a live animal can mess up a scene.

We tend to go with the formula. Whatevers next is next. I crack up at how not only do they fly through the credits but now they shrink them over to the side while they run a promotion of their other shows. Hardly any time between the kiss and the next movie.
