I thought abut getting one but our staircase isn't right for it (old pre-war house).

My uncle got them for my aunt who had gotten Parkinsons. They had 2, if not a 3rd one

Now I realize that going up and down stairs is a good thing to keep me in shape.

Also, they can be removed with little damage to stairs.
Very helpful.
Tax deductible.
Attaches to stair treads not handrail.
Battery backup for use in power outages.
We moved to a one level home.
Got a partial refund upon its removal before we sold the old house
