A new low has been reached in advertising - talking pee and poop emojis.

Just yesterday, I saw a new ad campaign for Pull-Ups training pants.

It features a talking drop of urine and a pile of poop with a vaguely British accent. The emojis are sitting on a roll of toilet paper, discussing how proud they are of a child learning to use the bathroom. They even have names - Yureen and Terd.

Seriously???!!! I thought the Dude Wipes commercial was gross enough. No dignity, no sophistication.

If my kids were still of an age to need a product like this, I would not buy this brand just because the ad is so crass.

They have now descended into a "poop and pee" commercial. I may not recover from this.

...and shows a sturdy little VW bug surviving a number of attempts to destroy it. It bounces up, shakes it little wheels and carries on - sort of a Volkswagen variation of the old Timex watch ad - "Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'."

I learned to drive a stick shift on my dad's pale blue VW bug so I have a fondness for those little cars.
