(488 posts)As long as they have fingertip thingys that are touch screen compatible.
Theres also a mixed lobster glove/ mitten that gives the thumb and pointer fingers glove fingers while the rest huddle in mitten fashion.
Something for everyone!

(121,473 posts)If it's -15 and you're outside chopping wood, or just out walking around, you'd better have mittens, which are much warmer than gloves.

(838 posts)came home with sheepskin mittens, that had the index finger separated so the airforce gunners could pull the trigger. They were brand new, but all us kids used them in the Cleveland winters and they got totally worn out. I keep looking for them in storage, but they disappeared.

(9,903 posts)My first pair are black velvet Isotoners with faux fur inside them. These gloves are most likely 9 years old and are important to me because I can steer a vehicle steering wheel. I accidentally lost the left hand glove a few weeks ago and found it frozen in the driveway. It took several days for it to thaw and dry out.
My second pair of winter gloves are Heat Lockers. These gloves are thermal and extremely warm. The only problem is there's not any grip while steering a wheel or shoveling snow; that's a problem. They don't get worn as much as my Isotoners.

(70,597 posts)I had a nice pair of oversized snowmobile mittens I could wear over lighter gloves for snowblower, or cleaning off the car to get home on days when it snowed whole at work.
Only mittens I ever had as a adult. I lost them somewhere & never replaced them.
