Had a run in with Google A.I. overview's so-called search facts.

Apparently Jim Morrison was drafted and deployed to Vietnam in 1969. To think big tech is pouring billions into this technology.

I've run a number of experiments with it -- mostly using discussion questions from my course on the history of economic thought. Answers ran from appallingly bad to excellent. Generally, if there were common fallacies to avoid, the Google summary presented them as truth, but for questions about more esoteric stuff, the answers were often pretty good. Thing is, you have to know the answer to make the Google answers usable -- but if you know the stuff you don't need them.

Think. Again.
