Best alternative "ice cream"?

I'm lactose intolerant. Also have problems with soy milk (you don't wanna know---seriously!). But I've tried all the others. I like cashew milk ice cream the best. Coconut milk is okay but seems a little thin somehow, at least most of it. Oat milk is, how to say---not at all good.

Anybody else got opinions on this?

Put them and a few other things in the Vitamix and presto. I believe Vita-mix may have a recipe for their frozen smoothies..

Fortunately I don't need one, 'just' decaf coffee (and Dunkin's is fine for me.)

Gonna get my ice cream 'fix' now.

Depending on the exact kind, yogurt can be much lower in lactose than milk, and therefore easier to digest.

If yogurt works for you then maybe frozen yogurt?

Myself, I have ditched milk due to probably lactose issues, but do fine with Greek and Icelandic yogurt. I mostly stay away from ice cream due to the sugar but when I do have some, I try to go with froyo instead of regular ice cream.

add some vanilla or other flavor and freeze. It has a texture like ice cream, and the banana flavor is not as strong.

You can freeze seedless grapes, if you are just looking for a cool, sweet treat.

like Lactaid. Cosco sells their generic version at a great price.
They work really well. I've used them for many years, whenever I eat anything containing milk products.

From their "nondairy" line, made with almond milk. The Tonight Dough, Americone Dream and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough are also all very good.

I have no problem at all now after I take 2 or 3 tablets right before having any dairy products.

turned us on to a delicious non dairy called Rice Dream...

Decades later one of this company's product ranges has stood the test of time:
