Two shots to get the party started. Now, a La Jolla; brandy, créme de banana, orange juice, and lemon juice.
Im counting this as my recommended daily allowance of fruit.
I love you all

(23,008 posts)I'm going to spend some time with an old friend I haven't seen in about 3 years. She's in her early 60s and she's been traveling through Europe for the past several years. She sold most of her physical assets and does some modest day trading to finance her travels. She travels with a modest amount of stuff yet she's had some remarkable and amazing adventures.
Tonight, I'm drinking Rye based Manhattans but I'm going a bit overboard with the bitters and a bit more sweet Vermouth than usual. Lots of ice and an extra Maraschino cherry 'cause I like 'em!
Cheers, my friend!

Once Ive established myself with my new employer, Im going to see if I can talk the bosses into opening a clinic for the underserved and underinsured. The parent company is officially a not-for-profit, so its worth a try.
