TSO Beethoven's Last Night

One of my all-time favorite albums. Cathartic
I just listened to this link on YouTube. This recording has the narrative as well as the music. The cd I have that I listen to doesn't have the narrative, and this is the first time I've heard the entire work.

I heard some cuts from this and had to have it. I hate to say it's an album, so much more. Musical? Opera? Opus?

They hire local people from musical schools, unions and other talent and then there are the traveling musicians that play just about every instrument. It’s unlike any concert I’ve ever been to. From the first note to the last, I was thrilled by the music and story behind it and the artistic expression with the lights and structures on stage. It was loud, like rock is supposed to be, and everything is original so nothing you’ve seen before. For me, it was a fantastic performance and I hope they get back my way next year. If you have the chance, definitely go

TSO has had concerts close enough for me to attend, but I rarely go to things like that. My kids are a different story

I read the reviews..no videos, that I remember, but I wanted to go so I did. Sooo glad I did as I told my friends about it but really, it was the experience that is hard to explain. Very talented people and I’m a rock n roll baby so I was very happy. No one in the audience jumping around or in the aisles as we were treated to a great show

I might. I got to see Kansas a couple years ago, and The British Invasion Years before that. I didn't have to travel far, and enjoyed the concerts

I haven’t checked their schedule in a couple of years..ya gotta get tickets ahead of time because they sell out n only tour for the holiday season.

Edit..just went in line and looks like the one I sent you is from 2013..there’s lots of videos so I think I’m gonna be watching them tonight..

Don’t know where you are but I checked their schedule n the closest would be Tampa for me n that’s not really close so I’ll check next year. I don’t even think of Christmas in September but that’s when they start with their schedule for the tour..🎄

TSO has been in Columbus, Oh and Charleston, WV. I think they performed in Columbus more than once.
