Friday Night Vodka Buzz. Ask me anything.

Two shots to get the party started. Now a Bolero #2. Dark rum, brandy, orange and lime juice, and simple syrup. Yummy!

I tried a Bolero #1 a while back. Light rum, apple brandy, and sweet vermouth.

How is everyone tonight?

I love you all…

Staying calm. The White House, Joe & Kamala are eerily quiet. Makes me think there's a lot being done behind the scenes to safeguard what they can. Am I being naive?

Joe and Kamala are smart and hard-working. They’re shoring up everything they can that would be difficult for Trump to undo. They’re shepherding judicial approvals through Congress with the help of anti-Trump Republicans. They’re doing everything within their power to minimize the shitstorm that’s on the horizon.

They have our backs. We need to return their service by keeping our eyes fixed on 2026.

I made a caramel apple martini for my cocktail tonight--apple cider, vodka, and butterscotch schnapps.

Turns out, Skippa loves the taste of a gin martini, Hates beer and wine, but loves a well made martini. I will need to secure the gin and vermouth going forward,

She’s eighty-three. Don’t know how many more holidays we’re going to have with her. So we’re making the most of it.

No cocktails for me, though. Probably a nice medium-dry Riesling to go with the turkey.

It does hint that all alcohol is bad for you, but it starts with the liver.

Overconsumption of alcohol can cause hypertension, and often diabetes, both of which can be very harmful to the kidneys, heart, and brain.
