Got a second offer on the house

It’s still lower than we want even despite the house understandably not being in perfect condition as it is over 10 years old and lived in all that time. And we can’t afford repairs. But things may work out. Asking for good luck wishes. Thanks all

Even if the offer doesn’t work out we need a place. My area isn’t cheap unfortunately.

Where you can live. Depending on what you make from the sale, might have to downsize to a cheaper condo. Did you say you owe money on the house?

Haven’t been able to pay the mortgage since my dad was alive almost 6 years ago. That’s why the offer counts so much.

As of now I am not sure it would be enough for us to look for another place but maybe they’ll go up. The market is more buyers market than it was. And we have to pay the real estate agent’s commission and mom’s lawyer. The lawyer has done all this work so far for only an initial $300.
