I forgot to bring garlic powder with me for lunch. Then I was thinking I use garlic on almost everything. But not ice cream. Wondered next; has anyone ever made garlic ice cream. I don't think I'd like it.
Then I thought of a wonderful candied bacon macaron w ?__ else that was quite fabulous.
With the ice cream that'd make it savory. Otoh, taking bacon a sort of savory item, and making it sweet.
And now I've run out of steam. 😄

(147,987 posts)At the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California every year, garlic ice cream is always available. More of a novelty than anything else, you can try it there. You're not going to find it in any store, though. How does it taste? Like vanilla ice cream with garlic powder mixed in. Not horrible, but an unusual flavor.
