I’m a soft jazz addict, but when Obama was elected I wanted freakin’ head bangin’, hardest of hard rock to calm my jangled nerves..I could never stand that kind of music. But I guess the violence and cacophony of the tunes forced my attention outward and was somehow soothing to the storm of anxiety going within. But Ihave to somehow strike a happy medium because Obama was a long time ago and we’re all much older now. Some of us have heart conditions….

I remember at that watch party, though, we played Na,na na, hey, hey, good bye. And Centerfield (Put me in, Coach, I’m ready to play!)
Hey, that might actually be a good one! Thanks for the suggestion…whatever classical tune I use will have to be quite stirring.

I am thinking you want something uplifting with no lyrics.
Gershwin would be company in that tense Tuesday night
