In order to avoid the impairment of your immortal soul; get a tablespoon, go to the pantry, get the peanut butter,

open the container, scoop out as much as the spoon will hold, enjoy! 🤗

Almost every day for breakfast. Unless my Wife gets Cinnamon Rolls from the wonderful Amish lady down the highway.

I got a birthday card (which I still have) from my girlfriend in 1966. It says “I love You More than Peanut Butter.” I still use that line. Awesome pick up line. Go ahead try it.

we both think Lewis Black is hilarious. And... I hope you like this rant on chunky peanut butter (it's got swear words in it, so be prepared).

My wife is allergic to peanut butter, so that is just a fond memory.
Ah, the things we do for those we love.

So is mine, but for some reason she LOVES the smell of it. Your wife must be a lot more allergic than mine.

Ah yes! Thank you for sharing this! I have done this since I was a kid. I passed it on to my kids who were always asking, “Mom, Can I have a peanut butter spoon?” Now my grandkids do the same. What is your favorite Peanut Butter brand? I like Adams. You have to stir it, but then you get to lick all that off the stir spoon.

So, we just get the national brands.
For my taste, Jif hits the ideal point of peanuttiness (had to make that up) & mouthfeel. The Kraft point is ideal for becoming more fluid at mouth temperature. The hydrogenation of the peanut oil is a bit less aggressive as for Skippy & Peter Pan. It's a tiny difference, but it doesn't take much to influence Kraft point.
So, Jif is my go-to. Creamy. My wife prefers Skippy Crunchy. So, there's 2 jars in our cabinet most of the time.
Also, you may have intended your reply for Floyd, not me. I hope Floyd comes back to read the whole thread.

If my immortal soul is at stake, I don't want to mess this up.

And do we then put the jar back on the shelf?
