WILMINGTON, Ohio (WXIX) - An Ohio pastor has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of child sex crimes after his arrest last fall.

Silas Shelton was taken into custody on Oct. 15, police said.

Shelton, who lives in Warren County, served as a pastor at the Blanchester Community Church in Clinton County, according to the Wilmington Police Department.

Originally, police said Shelton was arrested on the following charges:

Rape
Sexual battery
Unlawful sexual conduct with a minor
Gross sexual imposition
