Rural Women Need Respect, Support, and Dignity

March 8th marked International Women’s Day.

We’ve observed this day in one way or another for over 100 years, and in that span of time, we’ve won many victories outright, made progress toward others, and dealt with starts and stops along the way.

But in recent years, it seems like we’ve been sliding dangerously backward:

Women in the U.S. face callous laws and anti-choice judges determined to strip away our reproductive rights

Instead of supporting mothers, we still have no federal paid family leave law
