'We Need an Anti-Billionaire Party'

(© 2024 Philadelphia Inquirer) "It’s past time to cast out the money-changers and stop pandering to millionaires and billionaires who may be pro-abortion rights or support the LBGTQ community, but who mainly just want to keep America’s unequal economic status quo. Build a new Democratic Party that bans big money, because elections are won with votes, not dollars. The next Democrat who brags about how obscenely rich he is should be booed out of the arena."

As we have seen before.

It would be funny if it weren't such a dangerous situation.

Many wealthy, do not know whether they are billionaires, are benevolent Democrats who don't want tax cuts that will make the debt problem worse. On the other hand, there are many lower to middle class, who are becoming rabid MAGA or vote for the GOP like a cult, even against their own interests

So, it is not true that we need an anti-wealthy party just because some wealthy are also MAGA. Remember, more non-wealthy are cultists MAGA.

Democrats have their work cut out. First, although well-meaning, Bernie Sanders should stop singing the same song about the working class. It is not that simple. A new thinking Democratic consultants are badly needed. Kamala Harris was, in a way, trying to thread that needle. Too bad she did not win. I do not know how to convince this working class cult. I hope they settle down after Trump messes up everything It may be time they suffer the consequences of electing Trump for at least two full years. Again, I don't know. That is why we have the high paid consultants who are not doing their job. It is time they start working rather than sending us a rosy picture

issue. Bernie was all in on the class struggle and he could never get more than a third of Democrats to support him. Trying to turn the Democratic party into the DSA is a big voter turn off.

They keep us fighting on social issues like abortion and LBGTQ+ rights. It distracts and drains us from fighting about the economic inequalities, which ultimately lead to destroying the environment in the spirit of advanced capitalism.

Abortion is not a form of murder. What we are doing to our planet is.
