Federal agents track down Syracuse woman, demand she remove Instagram post about ICE

Source: www.syracuse.com

Two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents issued a warning to a Syracuse woman Tuesday to remove a social media account they said threatens federal agents. Paigelynne Gonyea said she believes they are referring to a January post where she named the ICE agent who shot protester Renee Good.

Gonyea was working as a poll worker Tuesday afternoon at the Central Library on Salina Street when agents called to meet with her. She said she invited them in. She said she did not want to meet them outside alone.

“I’ve seen the news, especially in Minnesota,” she said. “And I didn’t want anything to happen to me at all.”

The agents handed Gonyea a form letter that says they were investigating threats made against ICE personnel. The form says the agents had identified an Instagram account they believe breaks federal law. They asked her to remove and discontinue the behavior, according to the unsigned document she shared on Instagram.

This is here post https://www.instagram.com/p/DTQ1FYDkyua/

She said: "BREAKING: The ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good in broad daylight has been identified as Jonathan Ross by the Minnesota Star Tribune. I think today is a great day for Jonathan to be indicted!"

It's utterly insane to view this as a threat.

We've all said things about Jonathan Ross, the one who murdered Renee Good in broad daylight. It happened in front of several eye-witnesses, and Jonathan Ross needs to be charged with murder.

A lot of us on DU have said worse things about Good's murderer. Encouraging an indictment is not a threat to anyone's life, unless you are a criminal.

Republicans could stop him, but they won't, 'cause they're just as bad as he is, and they'll own this for the rest of their rotten lives.

If you serve in ANY capacity in this criminal cabal, masquerading as a Presidential administration, you should know this fact - this term WILL end, and the laws broken and abused WILL be investigated, charged and adjudicated; and the guilty WILL serve time for their crimes. America PROMISES that much still... justice still matters, even when it is being abused and tortured in service of a scumbag 80-year old pig.

and that's just page one of the Google results for "renee good" "jonathan ross".

The only good thing about this is 2 ICE agents wasting their time on this is 2 fewer ICE agents grabbing innocent people off the street.

I guess the media all have lawyers so they scapegoat a private individual. Bastards.
