RFK Jr blames migrants for measles and other diseases in the US: 'It has nothing to do with me'

Source: The Independent

Wednesday 22 April 2026 13:20 EDT

Robert F Kennedy Jr has dismissed any suggestion that his vaccine skepticism has contributed to measles outbreaks across the U.S., instead placing the blame on immigrants. “It has nothing to do with me,” the Health Secretary told lawmakers at a hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Committee on Tuesday, in which he was questioned on his department’s budget for 2027.

“If you’re worried about polio and tuberculosis, you should look at the immigration policies in this country. ’Cause the place where it’s occurring are the place[s] where the immigrants are going, because they’re not vaccinated.”. In a statement shared withThe Independent, a spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services said: “This is taken out of context completely.

“Current outbreaks are largely concentrated in close-knit, under-vaccinated communities with prevalent international travel that raises the risk of measles importation. Measles is a global challenge, and the United States continues to have a lower overall measles burden than Canada (which in November 2025 lost its measles elimination status), Mexico, and much of Europe.”

Since assuming the position of Health Secretary, Kennedy has enacted several changes that are more in line with his own views on vaccines. In June 2025, he fired all 17 members of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, replacing them with vaccine skeptics and individuals who have criticized mainstream medical guidance.

his job is probably safe. That's pretty much the one "qualification" he actually possesses.

And BTW, Junior, you fucking dipshit? If everyone in the US was vaccinated LIKE THEY SHOULD BE, it wouldn't matter if the dirty immigrants were showing up in an infected state now would it?

It may not be ALL on RFK Jr, that much is true. It's also a problem of many Americans being fucking morons, and there's many other personalities who've been hyping the vaccine skepticism. Most people who decide to not vaccinate are probably more influenced by the dipshit podcasters they listen to as opposed to Junior here. However, his stupid attitude about vaccines is NOT HELPING, nor should ANY US government official responsible for public health in ANY way be publicly promulgating vaccine skepticism.

IF this is even true, which I highly doubt: "Current outbreaks are largely concentrated in close-knit, under-vaccinated communities with prevalent international travel that raises the risk of measles importation" what this SHOULD actually register to someone in his position is that USA should be leaders in vaccination rates, so that people from HERE do not go to other countries and infect the populations THERE because they're unvaccinated and sick. He's basically criticizing other countries for not vaccinating people well enough, while promoting the idea that vaccines are unsafe here.

Fuck this guy, and fuck this entire childish, beclowned regime

They come in uninvited and undocumented, bring drugs into the country, they eat the cats and dogs, feed off the public purse, and bring horrible diseases that clean cut Americans escaped from decades ago!

RFK Jr, sir, you are so far out of your depth you need to shut up before you make a fool of yourself!

Might be a bit too late now though.

Junior, wage wars on those little nasties with vaccinations rather than blaming a minority group.

That reminds me: I need to get my annual non-political, non-scary and free flu jab soon.

Well if the immigrants are bringing the measles virus, and biden allowed all the migrants in during his term, then why are the cases showing up now and not then? Measles does not have a 4 year incubation period. Supposedly, immigrants are no longer crossing the border, Right? Yet childhood vaccine rates are dropping, including the rightwingers push to no longer make vaccines mandatory for school children, which means the likelihood of more cases, Right? It is not so difficult, Right?

We watched RFK, Jr., in Congressional testimony, make up shit under oath in front of the cameras and photographers. Like his fellow sociopath, Diddling Donny, our little Bobby hasn't read the research on measles outbreaks. He's really not the type. Well... he's lazy intellectually. Like Donny, RFK, Jr. has a lot of holes in his memory bank that he has learned to fill with emotional content. Bobby's a total mess. Seeing him before Congress was highly illuminating. He really can't make any arguments without dashing off into some emotional side show or a diversionary dead end. Just by listening to how he expresses his concepts and arranges his words, all of us should know that he speaks with absolutely no authority. And you could see those little cracks in his logic form and grow whenever he stays rational for long enough take a breath. He's just as mad as Donny.

When RFKJ gets called out, he denies that he's anti-vax at all. But the instant the heat is off, he's spouting anti-vax nonsense until his brainworms vomit in disgust.
