The Pakistan offer was already being reviewed before Trump's goofy nuclear threat.

Trump made his threat (part of the negotiation). The Iranians got to puff up their chest and say fuck you (part of the deal). Pakistan made the offers public. The Iranians were permitted to reject it. Trump was required to say he accepted it first, subject to etc. The Iranians will reluctantly accept it.

Through Pakistan and China, the Iranians will receive a boatload of rebuilding money, probably from the Saudis.

The war is over.

Then the brass said NOPE! We are not gonna engage in your planned war crime. I base this on my faith in them and the report that Trump complained that what the Iranian people were doing was 'a war crime'.
